Friendly Winnipeg
Winnipeg is a good city. It has friendly people and pretty buildings, including this school. I really enjoy living in Winnipeg and I wish to stay in it my whole life. There are so many more plans for a newcomer from different countries including me, than any other province or even another country. I always hear how the people complain on radio that other countries do not take care of immigrants. So when I speak to my friends from different countries they usually tell me that I am a lucky guy for being in a Manitoban city.

Well yes Winnipeg is a good city, but there are bums all round the city. But I love my city. I think it’s good that you are happy here in Winnipeg. Plus it is one cold city.

I don’t think Winnipeg is friendly. It’s dangerous to go out at night. Even
in daytime you get shot or get stabbed, just by standing at the bus stop.
When I was waiting for the bus I got bear maced. That’s why I don’t call Winnipeg friendly. Maybe it’s different if you come from another country.

Everywhere you go there’s always TROUBLE!!! No matter if you are a good, friendly person, people still hurt others. No one respects anyone. What happens next is when you have a quiet time at a loved ones’ place those kind of people just can’t face the fact that you are having fun and to them they want to ruin that. It happened to us, even when our kids were there. THEY JUST DON”T CARE.

I dont agree that this is friendly Winnipeg. It is very dangerous in downtown Winnipeg and it is only getting worse. The crime rate is getting worse because of the drug addicts, hookers and dealer’s walking the streets all night. I have had three knives pulled on me in the last four years and one of my houses were broken into. I hate living in this area. No one should be scared to walk to the store at night outside there own home!!!

Winnipeg can be a great city, if nothing goes worng. I’ve been jumped, maced, beaten and hadguns pulled on me. But other than that, it’s been a good place. The city of Winnipeg helped me out with the schooling, medical, clean water to drink, and peace.

Yes, Winnipeg can be great place to live and grow up. I’ve been living here for 7 years now and I’m still enjoying it. The only thing that annoys me about living in Manitoba is the weather. But then again it can be worse in other countries.

I’m pumped you like Winnipeg. I love this city even though I was born here. I think we have a pretty great city. Besides the bums, which are just some people with bad luck. We have lots of things to do from summer events all the way to winter. There are a lot of teen dances and adults have socials, bars and clubs and all that fun stuff. Winnipeg has a lot to offer, in my opinion this is the city to be in.
