Today a scientist named Jamie came to show us the benefits of washing our hands with soap and water. We conducted two experiments which allowed us to see that just washing quickly with water is not enough. We also talked about when we should wash our hands and where we find germs.
Comment on this post and explain a bit about what we did for the experiment, what the results were and what you learned. You have already written a paragraph in French so this can just be a short summary of what you wrote.

The experiment was:to see what germs’ look like.
The results were that when you wash your hands with water it isn’t enough.
I learned that you have to wash your hands with soap and water to get all of the germs off your hands.
I learned that if you wash your hands really quick it doesn’t help get the germs off. My favourite part is when we put lotion on our hands and then put it under a light so you can see all the germs.It’s amazing how much germs there are on your hands and fingers. After that we washed our hands really good to see how much germs we got off. I really enjoyed that experiment it was really fun.
First we put special cream on and looked at our hands with a special flashlight. Their were lots of germs on our hands. We rinshed our hands under water and saw how many germs were still on our hands. After that we washed our hands with soap and water singing our ABC’s. That’s how long you should wash your hands for.
I think that the light was very cool how it showed the creem that goes on your hand. I thoght that it was cool that just running water on your hands is not good enough and that with soap you have to run your under water for 30 sec. It was iteresting of the big differens that it makes when you use soap!
It was really neat to see how many Gems I had on my hands! There was a big differance in washing your hands with soap and water than just with water. I wonder if we put some cream on the doornob in our classroom, how many Germs would be on the doornob?
the science experiment was fun and it proves that it is not easy to get rid of germs. because even when you wash your hands with sope the .germs still dont go away
The experiment was to see that water isn’t a good idea only.You have to use soap and water.You can find germs on your hands and in your mouth and on your bed.
I’ve learned that running your hands under the water is not good enough. I also learned that running your hands with soap and water works much better! Well getting rid of germs is so hard. Germs like never go away!
When we saw the diffrence beteewn the stage when you just quickly wave your hands under the water and the stage where you really wash you hands we saw that there was a big diffrence. The most command place where germs on your hands is in the littel cracks and on your finger nails. Even when you wash your hand really good there still are germs left on your hands.
I learned that when you just wash your hands under water not much germs go away. But when you wash your hands for the A B C’s song length it gets rid of a lot of germs! So now I always wash my hands with soap and for the length of the A B C’s.
I never new that so many germs are on your hands. The experiment that we did was really fun and cool. I think lerning about germs is fun. I love doing science experiments like that, it’s just so interesting. I may want too be a scientist when I grow up, yah! that whoud be great. Does Jaime do any other experiments? I would like to know about them.
WOW,I am I going to to wash my hands better! I really liked how we leaned about grems but in aother ways not! Because when I saw how much I had I was scared!Ithought that I would have alot but it was still really scarey.When we went throu the different stages I think I am going to think twis before just rinsing my hands under the water. Well thatsall oh and one aother thing I am going to wash my my hands for the whole ABC’s!
I learned that when you just wash your hands under water it doesn’t really get all the germs away. But if you do it with soap and for the length of the alphabet then most of the germs go away.
Im going to wash my hands way better next time.Washing hands is really important . But doing it right is what you need. I it really freaked me out when I did that.Next time I want to run my hands under water I will remember about the science exparamint.Next time I am going to count the song happy birthday 6 times.I dont like germs at all.

When we saw how many germs were still there i think everyone was suprised too see that. I had the germs mostly right above my wrist and my fingernails. The experiment showed us that quickly rinsing our hands with water doesnt work and that we have to use soap and wash for the alphabet.
