We had a very interesting discussion in class today about communities. Keeping in mind what we decided a community was and the examples we listed, I would like you to spend some time thinking about a community you belong to, there are probably many. Dicsuss this with your family and choose one community that is important to you. Before Wednesday next week, I would like you to reply to the post and simply state which community you have chosen. We will be working with these more on Thursday (Nov 27).
Some of the ideas we came up with in class were church, family, team, neighbourhood, group (learning, sports etc). Please be specific when you decide. For example name the team you are part of if that is what you choose.

I chose my home because It is my shelter and it is were me and my family live . It is were I get food and i am safe there.
Me and my family talked about communities last night and picked churches because I go to church.
I belong to four comunities my hockey my church and greek school riverview comunity and last ecole riverview school.
Which Church do you go to?

I belong to a curling community. I have always wanted to curl ever since I was 3 years old. This is my first year curling and I love it. I sometimes get to watch curling on T.V. with my Grandma. She is also a curler.
My favorite community is my hockey team. Because my dad is the coach.

My family talked about diffrent communities. one of the communities was my moms work ’cause she works with people in her work like paitents and other nurses and we talked about my gymnastics as one because theres gymnasts and coaches, and theres moms and dads there who watch there children do gymnastics.

I belong to a basketball community.My team name is riverview. No other person in my family plays it. But I keep forgeting to watch basketball.

there is lots of communitys that I learned I was in. But this is the one I wanted to do my gymnastics.it`s called panthers it`s a communtity because there are people ,volotes,beams,bars one floor,3 tramps,2 fluts,couches, gymnist,and lots more.
I am going to choose a camp. It is called BB camp. It is a safe place, we have places to sleep and a place to eat. I have gone there for the last two summers.
I belong to a tae kwon do community. This community is where my friends are.
I belong to kind of two communites beacuse I play soccer in Crescentwood and I play hockey in Riverview. I am a part of a community with my mom’s family and my dad’s family. We spend hoildays togther and we go to my lake with each other. We also go camping togther.

Yes, this community is very important to me. I curl every week. On Saturday at 11:00 am. I curl at the Fort Garry curling club.

I choose Riverview School as my community. It’s important to me because I learned lots of things here. I’ve been going to school here for six years.
I live in a couple camunities, one is my hockey team. My team is called Slovakia. A nother one of my camunities is my family. I have about 40 people in my family.
I belong to my hockey team’s comunity and I can use it for my project.
Will it be ok if me and RV004 do the same thing if not i can do dance I do ballet and jezz it`s called Shelly shearer there are bars for you to balenc there are therchers`,4 diffent rooms , they tech hip hop jezz ballet tap and musicl thether .just wondering if that would be butter.
