This year will look slightly different as we will be having two classroom teachers. Mme Ott will be teaching in room 308 each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from October to March. She will be focusing on the sciences during those afternoons. The reason for this, is that I will be finishing my master’s degree and am required to complete a placement outside of the school during those times. I look forward to this new part of my education and to working with Mme Ott.

We will be hosting two blog information sessions for parents on September 4th.  These sessions will take place at 3:30 and again at 5:00.  The students of room 308 will be using the blog throughout the year in many different ways.  The information session will be for parents to come and learn the benefits of the blog as well as how to use it as a communication tool between home and school.  A division support teacher will also be here to answer questions.  The site is part of our program and I strongly encourage all families to attend.  The students will be exposed to the site at school and will not need to attend, I am sure they will be able to teach their parents a few things.

Welcome to room 308. I hope everyone has an enjoyable summer and I look forward to seeing many familiar faces as well as meeting the new students joining our class in the fall. During the first week of school I will be providing details on how this site can be used and offering learning opportunities for students and parents.
