Stop motion, and monologues, and improv, Oh MY!
Great professionalism is being shown by the Grade 8s this month. Students are wrapping up their photo shoots are preparing to head into the lab for editing. Those Grade 8s that have chosen to perform monologues are hard at work memorizing and rehearsing.
The Grade 7s are jumping into improv with reckless abandon, and are devloping great public speaking skills as they go. In a recent assignment about what skills they were learning in the theatre, students identified public speaking as one of the most important.
Improv Club is also continuing, though schedule changes have been a little confusing at times. Please remember to check the daily written announcements for info in case of changes!

Congrats to the Drama classes in their sucessful first round of onstage backstage! The students have all rehearsed and performed scenes for the classes, as well as had turns learning and working spotlight, camera work, sound and video switching. The performances were great, and the crews did an amazing job!
In November Grade 7 students will be starting an improv unit, while the Grade 8’s will move into monologue work. Keep up the great work!!
