Six Pines Farm
On June 12th the students had the opportunity to go on their first school field trip!
The class went to Six Pines Farm where they got to pet different animals (like Llamas
and Donkeys), feed a baby calf, ride a horse, and go on a hay ride! The students had
a lot of fun, here are some pictures to show of their trip.
Happy June!
June has arrived, and so far it truly feels like summer in room 22!
Students are working hard at their spelling and reading, and students continue to learn about the various cultures that make up our community.
We were fortunate to have visitors from Kenya and Uganda visit our class, and share their culture with us!
Room 22 will continue to be a place of learning for the rest of June! Way to go room 22!
Room 23 News
With Room 23 learning about plants, our upcoming field trip to Deer Meadows Farm and Corn Maze is a great fit. The students have enjoyed planting both seeds and bulbs, and have been very excited to see growth occur. The onions can be kept on a sunny window sill, and used in the kitchen, while the sunflowers and beans should be planted outside.
