April has come and gone, and still the students of room 22 keep working hard!
Students continue to grow as learners of Science and Mathematics. Recently, students re-discovered their joy of math games, and were able to take some family math games home after student-led conferences.
This month, students have started their culture project. The goals of this project are to learn about the various cultures represented in our classroom and local community, the appreciation of diversity and how all cultures have come together to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and to turn this knowledge and appreciation into a professionally-made book. So far, students have started researching multicultural recipes, as well as they took an in-depth look at the culture of the people in Kenya.
Keep up the good work room 22! Hard work will always pays off!
