Observations from Washington

Powerful & Surreal. The museum tells a story of something that could only happen in a book. It really doesn’t seem possible that human kind let this happen.

Evening with a Holocaust Survivor

Last night we heard from Barbara G. who survived the Holocaust.  She lived in Poland during the war and spent most of her childhood hiding in a ghetto.  The students were very inquisitive and asked many questions.  She answered them all and explained that her goal was to educate citizens and make them aware of what you should do if you see someone being attacked.
