Last night we heard from Barbara G. who survived the Holocaust. She lived in Poland during the war and spent most of her childhood hiding in a ghetto. The students were very inquisitive and asked many questions. She answered them all and explained that her goal was to educate citizens and make them aware of what you should do if you see someone being attacked.

This year’s program is well underway, with students attending eduaction sessions and volunteering at various agencies and organizations around the city.
They soon will be of to Washington, D.C to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Visiting this museum and the reflections they do afterwards is one of the culminating events of this program.
