Weather Station – Queenston School

Davis Vantage Pro2TM Weather Station

The basic Vantage Pro 2 includes an integrated rain collector, temperature and humidity sensor, and an anemometer.

The Vantage Pro2 software provides forecasting features, a wide range of on-screen graphing, a variety of measurement systems, and much more than can be describe in this brief post. The web page located at http://www.wsd1.org/weather/ shows the data that can be collected with the basic Vantage Pro2.

The weather station as mounted on top of the Queenston School roof. The only issue we are presently grappling with is whether the mast needs to be taller to negate what appears to be a swirling wind problem.
