Cette bibliothèque a une grande collection de 12 800 livres anglais et français. La section de fiction facile inclut les livres nivelés pour les enfants du primaire et des albums. Le coin de lecture se trouve dans cet endroit.
The library also has a good collection of fiction titles for grades 3 to 6. The grades 7 and 8 have their own reserved section of books for adolescents. We also have a good collection of non-fiction and reference books. There are many books of legends, fairytales, folktales and numerous books on animals. The library subscribes to various periodicals for young people and a professional library reserved for the teachers. La bibliothèque est un endroit privilégié pour toutes sortes d’activités d’apprentissage…la lecture, la recherche, la discussion en groupes, l’échange de livres, des présentations et les clubs de lecture. |
Library Loan Policy:Students borrow books from the library once a cycle. If books are not returned the student loses the privilege of taking out more books until the other books are returned. If a student loses a book we ask the student to pay $10.00. This amount does not cover the replacement cost but it does hold the student accountable. Birthday Book Club:In homour of their birthday, students and their parents are invited to contribute $5.00 or $10.00 towards the purchase of a new book for the library. The student is brought to the library to choose the book. A bookplate with the student’s name is placed inside the book. The child’s name is then placed in a special Birthday Book Club Binder. |
