Each classroom was invited to decorate their door with paper hearts listing the books that students read during I Love To Read Month. Check out the pictures of the decorated doors. As you can see, students were very busy reading books this month.
Congratulations to Grade 5 who were the winners of the contest. Each student received a free small 2 topping pizza!
Everyone knows that February is I Love To Read Month. Dufferin School has been celebrating I Love To Read Month with special guest readers – Ronald McDonald and Joe McClellan. We also have a few contests to get everyone reading.
Students who are “caught reading” by an adult will get a ticket to put into a book draw! Also, we have a competition between classrooms to see which classroom can read the most books. Each classroom is decorating their door with little hearts that each say the name of a book that someone has read.
