Just a short problem for homework this weekend…
Mike buys a washer/dryer set for $1000.00 on a credit card at 18% annual interest. He doesn’t use his credit card for ten years but also doesn’t put any money toward paying it off. If the interest remains the same, how much money would Mike owe the credit card company after ten years?

Just a reminder about two things happening next Friday. First, report cards are going home. Second, the Grade 7/8 boys and girls basketball teams are having a tournament here at Churchill from 4-8 Friday and 8am-8pm. I’m running the tournament and Tanis is running the canteen. All proceeds from the canteen are going toward sending students from Flex to winter camp who can’t afford to go.
What we are asking from you is…
-Baked goods of any kind.
-Your time! Basically any time you’re available to help out and/or give Tanis a break during the evening on Friday or during the day/evening on Saturday.
-A crock-pot full of chili and/or buns
-Your child’s time to help out selling, cleaning, or score-keeping
Let Tanis or I know if you can help out in any way.
