Dear Parents,
Just a general note to let you know that I’m piling on a whole lot of homework lately, especially in Math. The kids have been really good at completing it so far, so I haven’t posted individual assignments. However, the students in Flex should have homework almost every night these days, unless they work very quickly in class and get all of their work done.
FYI Grade 7 students are supposed to finish up to the second page of their fractions booklet for tomorrow. Some are already finished and are working ahead. Grade 8 students also are supposed to be finished their booklets up to the end of the multiplying fractions section. Thanks,

Dream Classroom Assignment
Design a floor plan of your dream classroom.
Your design must include:
1.) Two of each shape: (minimum)
Circle; triangle (two different types); square and rectangle
2.) For each shape, on a separate piece of paper, give the area of each shape and show your work.
3.) Also find the total perimeter.
4.) One rough copy, One good copy.
5.) Make sure you have appropriate scale.
